Palazzo Nicolosio Lomellino, built at the end of the 16th century but completed in the 18th century, today belongs to a Genoese family that in 2004 carried out a radical recovery. In this circumstance, very important frescoes by Bernardo Strozzi were discovered, hidden from view for more than two centuries.

The building welcomes visitors with a magnificent nymphaeum, on which opens a balcony, adorned with statues, a prelude to further hidden terraces that offer wonderful views of Genoa.

Some of the rooms are open for guided tours, exhibitions, small conferences and receptions.

The building stands in the central and historic Via Garibaldi (formerly Strada Nuova and, before that, Via Aurea). It is part of the list of 42 buildings registered in the “Rolli of Genoa”, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2006.
